About Us
As licensed Naturopathic doctors our passion is to use effective, natural therapies to help our patients achieve optimal health and start living the life they love. We use a combination of dietary advice, nutritional supplementation, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and lifestyle counselling to develop an individualized treatment plan that targets the root cause of illness, prevents future health concerns and ultimately improves the health of each of our patients. We maintain licensure through the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta and are members of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Located at Back on Track in Spruce Grove, we are pleased to be part of an integrated health care team to serve patients from all over Parkland County, Edmonton and Western Alberta.
Dr. Tayce Nixon, ND
Dr. Nixon's practice focuses primarily on family health care with an emphasis on women’s health, fertility, pre and postnatal care, and children's health. She is a member of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP) and is certified in Bowen Therapy as well.
Born and raised in Stony Plain, Dr. Nixon completed her Bachelors of Science with a minor in Psychology at the University of Alberta and Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver, BC.
Dr. Nixon returned home to start her practice and joined Back on Track to offer patients an integrated medical approach to health care. She’s excited to share her knowledge and passion for healthy living with members of her community.
When Dr. Nixon is not at the clinic, you’ll find her spending time with her husband and three beautiful children or in the kitchen cooking up a storm or baking healthy snacks.
Dr. Danielle Williamson, ND
Update: As of December, 2021, Dr. Williamson will be on sabbatical from practice for an extended period of time. She will not be accepting any new patients at this time. About Our Clinic
Back on Track was started by a team of chiropractors looking to improve the health of their patients by expanding the clinic to include multiple types of health care practitioners. Working collaboratively with experts in massage therapy, naturopathic medicine, as well as chiropractic care all under one roof ensures that patients are cared for on multiple levels. The chiropactors and massage therapists specialize in sports injury, rehabilitation, pregnancy care, and see patients of all ages for pain management and stress relief.
